GVA Lighting’s linear system STR9 was the perfect fit for ÅF Lighting’s iconic lighting design of the Svindersviks bridge in Nacka, Sweden.

The Infinity technology allowed for an installation with zero (!) drivers or Power Supplies installed on the actual bridge, ensuring unparalleled reliability and operation. To meet the design concept from ÅF Lighting we developed a special barn door to optimize beam and glare control.

This project was nominated for a Darc Award 2017 (Best Exterior Lighting Scheme – High Budget) and on the 9th of may, 2018, it received an “Award of merit” at the IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers) lighting design award.
